MORADA DOES IT AGAIN

With a concerted effort from students and staff, for the third straight year Morada met state API (Academic Performance Index) with a score of 795, an increase of 21 points!

Thanks to our students who worked extremely hard using learning strategies taught in class.   Morada teachers also strived to create a positive learning environment and use academic language in classes.  Students were appropriately placed in their classes, and common practices were utilized throughout the school.  Finally, a big thank you to our parents and community for their support.

Congratulations to our fantastic students, parents, community and staff.

Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony and Picnic

Listed below are the groups and times for the 8th grade promotion ceremony and picnic on May 24th.  Groups are determined by homeroom classes so check with your student regarding their homeroom teacher.  Parents are welcome to attend during their student's designated time.

After the ceremony, parents or guardians listed on the emergency form and with a photo ID may take their student home.  Other eighth grade students will enjoy a picnic and activities on the back field.  Although this a celebration, we would appreciate parents not bring balloons.
